I am a Tucson, Arizona native. Though I travel far and wide, gathering digital photographs and performing Western Poetry, as well as Cowboy & Celtic music, my heart, like my roots, remain deep and strong here in the Old Pueblo. Born the last of a mixed family of six, I found my niche horseback and on the dance floor, chasing cattle, riding horses and competing in country dance competitions, locally & regionally, in the early 1980s.
Although always seen with camera in hand, it wasn't until recently that I began to see the value in my photos that others had seen for a long while. With the same grit and determination with which I have tackled other ventures, I am now promoting my photography. I opened my Zazzle Gallery in April of 2007. When I noticed the popularity of my photographs there, I decided to venture into taking photographs at local small rodeo events, Gymkhanas and Barrel racings. My motto has become "No rodeo to small nor road to long"
I began traveling to Ireland in the summer of 2004. Ireland stole away my heart or perhaps welcomed it home. I have since traveled over many times to perform my Celtic & Cowboy music and to capture the magic which is Ireland's landscapes through my lens. I am hoping to find a means of publishing a coffee table book using some of these slices of Ireland's ruins.
Whether you enjoy landscapes celebrating the American Southwest, Live-action Rodeo photos, the grace and elegance of horses, the quiet dignity of cats, the comic antics of dogs or long for a slice of Ireland or Scotland, you will find what you are looking for here at Rincon Creek Studios.
